We have outboard motors available to rent, but you can bring your own boat and/or motor if you wish ,Native Brook Trout, Acrobatic Landlock Salmon, Lake Trout, rare and beautiful Blueback Trout, and big feisty Muskie.From our dock there is over 5000 acres of water W / miles of streams, rivers, ponds and lakes making it impossible to fish it all. But your welcome to try.Guide Service includes: experienced and knowledgeable guide, local transportation to fishing spots, use of boats, motors and any specialized equipment.

Fish some of the best lakes, ponds and rivers in the Northeast for smallmouth bass, brook trout and landlocked salmon.Choose from an action-packed bass fishing vacation trip, a hike into a pristine pond to fish for native brook trout, or try fly fishing in Maine, for landlocked salmon on the famous West branch of the Penobscot River. Open year-round and located on Millinocket Lake just 8 miles from Baxter State Park with spectacular views of Mt. Katahdin our cabins are fully furnished and include all bedding, towels, full kitchens, gas grill and baths. They can sleep 4 to 14 people. All cabins come with a free canoe and use of the sandy beach, fire rings with free wood, docks, motor boat rentals, hot tub, large screen TV and ping pong. We offer guided moose and wildlife tours from our pontoon boat, canoe, touring kayak or van, fishing, whitewater rafting, guided hikes, snowmobile and snowshoe rentals in winter.

 The Nahmakanta region is an incredible wilderness fishing area 45 miles from the nearest town and many miles from other camps (and other fisherman!) Four mile long "Nahmakanta" (Abenaki for "shining lake with many jumping fish") is a sparkling, spring-fed wilderness lake surrounded by wild forests, clear-flowing streams and dozens of crystal-clear lakes, the East's "Last Frontier" for wild Brook Trout and landlocked Salmon. Our nine beautifully restored lakefront log cabins all have large picture windows which look down the entire length of spectacular Nahmakanta Lake. We serve our guests delicious home-cooked meals daily in our historic 19th century dining lodge .   We have Rowboats and Canoes at 14 Remote BROOKTROUT PONDS For our GUESTS USE !!

Wilderness Edge Campground, formally Hidden Springs , is under new management and offers 32 RV camping sites and 70 tent sites on the Millinocket Lake / Baxter Park Rd just north of Millinocket. It is now owned by Larry & Anna Hallett of Millinocket. It is the perfect Place to Camp when visiting Baxter State Park and Mt Katahdin . Each of our sites has its own picnic table and firepit .Our R V sites have their own electrical and water hookups and our tent sites have shared water hydrants conveniently located near by ! We also have an inground Swimming Pool and a Playground for the children .  Access to Baxter State Park and Mt Katahdin are only 20 minutes away ! This area offers some of the Best Northern Maine Fishing , Hunting , Rafting , Hiking , Mountain Climbing and Awesome Canoeing and Kayaking ( We have Canoe Rentals on site with Katahdin Outfitters) Photograpy and scenic views abound in this Region !
